The Agios Nikolaos region is located 117 kilometers from Thessaloniki, at the beginning of the Sithonia peninsula.
In the main square of this traditional village, the taverns that surround the water fountain with the blossomed roses offer enjoyable meals. It is, however, recommended to first take a walk on its cobblestone pavements with the traditional 19th century houses that are characteristic examples of popular architecture and the churches of Agios Georgios and Agia Paraskevi.
Even though Agios Nikolaos is a mountainous village, its seashores (of thirty and more kilometers), with beautiful picturesque bays and clean sandy beaches, are located nearby and are well known for their fine sand and deep blue waters.
